The Freestyle Motocross Association of Southern Africa (FMXSA) )represents the principles and values of the sport and its riders .
The association seeks to nurture the sport of Freestyle Motocross in Southern Africa , and maintains and administrative function pertaining to safety and quality standards , Freestyle parks and club affiliaitions in Southern Africa , Freestyle athletes , regulation of rules , Judging and general promotion of the sport . Steps to be taken by new clubs for the admission to FMXSA
Incorporating all motor sport and related touring clubs in South Africa.
Step 1 .
Club Registration to FMXSA
In exchange for services and affiliation to FMXSA , each club must register , disclose information , and settle club fees upon commencement , and once a year thereafter to FMXSA . Each affiliated Club may appoint in writing to FMXSA a delegate on Commission in which the Club has interest, being it by track ownership, organizing or participating members of such club. Each club must administer their functions in accordance with the FMXSA Constitution and all regulations, laws and/or by-laws as are applicable . The affiliation of a club, association or group implies complete compliance by its members with this Constitution, By-laws, rules, codes and prescriptions of FMXSA . Any club, association or group of whatever nature representing any aspect connected with the furtherance of any facet of or involved in motor sport shall affiliate to and register with the FMXSA, subject to this Constitution, By-laws, rules, codes and prescriptions as may apply from time to time. The affiliation of a club, association or group implies complete compliance by its members with this Constitution, By-laws, rules, codes and prescriptions of FMXSA . Motor, motorcycle and touring clubs in South Africa must be affiliated and registered with FMXSA to be able to hold recognised competitions or events and in order for the members of such clubs to participate in such competitions, nationally or internationally, whether in or outside South Africa. A simple club name registration can be facilitated by contacting FMXSA custodian of records as listed on the website or in the motor sport handbook .
Step 2.
Submission of club information to FMXSA
All affiliated clubs shall communicate, upon registration and once a year thereafter , the names and addresses of their members , delegates and representatives to the Secretary of FMXSA who shall keep a register of the names of such members and of their addresses. All medical information of its club members must be disclosed and will be kept by the custodian of records within FMXSA .

Step 3
Availability of FMXSA information and procedures
Each club representative should be aware of the procedures , functions and services , and information provided by FMXSA .Club representatives will retain a copy of the constitution of the FMXSA and operate within its parameters .
The Association shall have the right to call any member of a Club or the Chairperson, representing such club for a disciplinary hearing, where such member or Club fail to comply with or contravening the Constitution, By-laws, rules, codes and prescriptions of FMXSA , including any resolutions adopted and rulings made by the SAFMXF or its Federation and Commissions .The term “appropriate steps” shall specifically include, without derogating from the generality thereof, expulsion, suspension and/or the imposition of a monetary fine, the amount(s) whereof shall be determined by the Federation from time to time. The Association may cause the name of any club whose membership is terminated or who is suspended to be showing in any medium as utilised by the FMXSA to communicate with affiliated clubs and their members, including the FMXSA website.FMXSA may take such disciplinary steps against any affiliated club or member, in accordance with such laws, by-laws and rules as may be applicable. All parties concerned shall have the right to appeal to the Association against such decisions .Clubs will be familiar with monetary amounts on series permits , stand alone event permits , licences and all related applications . By meeting all necessary club steps with FMXSA , any club and its representatives agree to operations information being freely available . Step 4
Club fees
Any club will pay the amount due to FMXSA , upon registration ,and once a year thereafter , the amount due to FMXSA for services and club affiliation .If any club should fail to pay any amount owing to FMXSA , whether for subscriptions, levies, entrance fees, goods, or services supplied by FMXSA , or otherwise arising, then his membership to FMXSA may be terminated by the association on written notice to its last known address. The Association may in its discretion reinstate such club on the payment of all arrear amounts and upon such terms as the Association may decide.
No club who has not paid its subscription within three months after it became due, is allowed to remain part of FMXSA while its subscription is unpaid.Club fees may be settled with the secretary of FMXSA from the website or in the motor sport handbook .
